Mac Mirror is built to be private. This policy explains the little data involved in using the app and this website.

Camera

Mac Mirror uses your camera only to show a live mirror on your screen while the mirror is open. Video is never recorded, saved, analyzed or transmitted. It never leaves your Mac. The camera turns off when the mirror closes.

License activation

When you activate, validate or deactivate a license, the app sends your license key to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, to confirm it's valid. No other information about you or your Mac is sent.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. They collect the details needed to complete your purchase (such as your name, email, billing country and payment method) under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details so we can deliver your license and provide support. We never see your full card details.

Analytics & cookies

The app contains no analytics or tracking. This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers.

Your settings

Your preferences and license key are stored locally on your Mac. Uninstalling the app and deleting its preferences removes them.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the purchase information we hold about you by emailing support@macmirror.me.

Children

Mac Mirror is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
